1. What is groupfitness?
This is cityfitnesss’ exercise to music in a group, like aerobics used to be, but encompassing many other disciplines and benefits. It encompasses the mind and body wellness of yoga and pilates, the weight loss, fitness, or endurance of cycling and spin, or the toning and technique of pump weights or boxing.
2. Which one should I choose first?
This depends on your goals and experience. Check out the descriptions of the classes to see which one appeals to you, or ask the staff at your cityfitness club for their expert advice.
3. How long are the classes?
Classes are 55min long. The shorter classes are great starting points for those who haven’t been to one before, or to supplement a personalised training programme.
4. What training/experience do the instructors have?
All our trainers are REPs qualified – which means that they not only have a relevant formal qualification, but complete ongoing training each year to maintain and improve the quality of service they can provide. Most also have particular specialised qualifications and experience, as well as those required in all instructors.
5. How often does the group fitness timetable change?
This varies depending on the feedback we get from participants and instructors, and general seasonal variation. We are committed to continually improving this core service, so changes are likely to improve the quality of fitness and health services available to you.
